A Techmetals engineered coating, TM 119 is a hard chrome alloy that is impregnated with special (polytetrafluroethylene) PTFE polymers. This combination enhances the release, wear and corrosion properties when applied to the base metal. As deposited, it maintains a coating hardness of 67–72 Rockwell C.

The accuracy & quality of the deposit is maintained through our strict quality control techniques. This helps to assure the best possible coating for applications such as the creation of metal forming tools, dies, valves, pumps and molds requiring extra release.

TM 119 can be varied to meet the unique specifications and requirements of specialized applications.
